Seymour-Smith Electric Motor & Pump Service Inc.
This section outlines the terms of sale (“Terms”) for products available from the Seymour-Smith Electric Motor and Pump Service Inc. estore. In these Terms, Seymour-Smith Electric Motor and Pump Service Inc. is referred to as “SSE” or “We”, and you the buyer are referred to as “You” or “Your”, as applicable.
 
1. Intended Customer.
The SSE eStore is intended for customers purchasing products for residential, commercial and or industrial use and are above the age of majority.

2. Pricing.
The prices advertised on this site are for SSE eStore orders only. All prices are listed in Canadian dollars. Prices and the availability of items are subject to change without notice. We are not responsible for typographical or photographical errors.

3. Fees, Taxes & Tax Exempt Purchasing
The shipping and handling charge is intended to compensate SSE for the cost of handling Your order, packaging the product(s) You have purchased, and delivering them to You and/or to the recipient(s) You designate. Prior to submitting Your payment information, You will have the opportunity to review the product prices, sales tax, and shipping and handling charges. We do not allow address changes after an order has been confirmed. Delivery dates are best estimates only based on the number of business days from the date of shipment. Appropriate taxes are charged on all orders based on the province to which shipment is made.

4. Payment Options
SSE accepts MasterCard, Visa or PayPal. Your credit card will be charged when Your order ships. If Your card expires before the order is shipped, We will notify You, and ask You to enter the credit card number again with the new expiration date. Credit card information is not stored on the SSE eStore system; therefore it must be re-entered each time You place an order.

5. Order Confirmation & Cancellation
a. SSE reserves the right to decline or cancel orders at any time. All orders are subject to prior sale. Order confirmation, backorder notification and shipment confirmation are sent via e-mail to the e-mail address You used to create a SSE eStore account. We assume no responsibility for issues resulting from such declines, 
cancellations, or e-mail notification failure. If an order is processed in error, contact customer service immediately at 1-800-862-9963.
b. SSE will accept orders for shipment only to Your location (a street address is required) as no shipments will be made to a P.O. Box address.

6. SSE eStore Return Policy
Not all products purchased at the SSE eStore can be returned. The SSE eStore will accept for return or exchange only new (not refurbished) or defective merchandise purchased at the SSE eStore, in accordance with the provisions and time frames for return as set out below. Opened merchandise may be subject to a restocking fee.

Shipping and Handling Fees
Shipping and handling fees from Your original order will not be refunded, unless the merchandise is determined by SSE, in its sole discretion, to be defective. All merchandise returned to SSE must be packed in the original, packaging including any accessories, manuals, documentation and registration that shipped with the product (such as manuals, cables, etc.) and a copy of the invoice/packing slip included to be eligible for return or exchange. IMPORTANT: In the event that returned merchandise ordered has items missing, the return may be refused, or the value of the missing materials may be deducted from the total credit amount.

Restocking Fee
SSE reserves the right to assess a restocking fee of up to 50% on any opened merchandise. The restocking fee will be deducted from the total credit amount.

Refurbished Products
All Sales are Final. Quantities are limited. Refurbished products are those which have been returned to SSE or items that SSE has purchased in bulk. They have been tested to ensure they perform properly, and are under warranty. Refurbished products may have small blemishes due to handling but this will not affect performance. Refurbished products may not contain exactly the same media/software as new models. SSE does not accept returns on Refurbished Products except in the case where products are received by You in damaged or defective condition in which case, SSE will, at its sole option, either provide a replacement with the same model or an equivalent model.

Time Frame and Shipping Instructions for Returns/Exchanges
All returns and exchanges must be accompanied by a Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”) number. To return or exchange defective or unopened merchandise, You must (a) request and obtain an RMA number and (b) return the merchandise to SSE within the Return Period of 14 calendar days of the date the RMA number was issued by SSE. SSE’s address can be found on Your packing slip. To receive an RMA number for returns or exchanges, call SSE toll-free at 1-800-862-9963. The RMA number must be clearly written on the outside of the shipping package. We recommend that You ship the merchandise You are returning via courier or other delivery service that provides tracking information and insurance, since SSE will not be responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit to SSE. We will not accept any returns or exchanges after the Return Period.

7. Miscellaneous
a. Title and Risk of Loss. Title to the Products and risk of loss or damage will pass to You upon shipment from SSE or its designee's facility. Claims for loss or damage will be deemed waived unless presented to SSE in writing within 30 days of delivery of each shipment.
b. Warranty. SSE's warranty (if any) on a product is to the purchaser only, in accordance with the limited 
warranty that SSE may ship with the product. Unless specifically required by applicable law, SSE makes no other representation, warranty, condition or guaranty of any kind, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, including without limitation, any warranty or condition with regard to quality, durability, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. If any product is defective at the time of delivery to You, Your sole remedy will be to return
the product to SSE for repair, replacement or refund as described in these Terms. SSE reserves the right to modify its warranty at any time, in its sole discretion.
c. Availability of Products and Services. The products and services displayed on this Site are intended for sale
in North America and may not be available for purchase in Your particular country or locality. The reference
to such products and services in the Site does not imply or warrant that these products or services will be 
available at any time in your particular location.

8. Any purchases from the SSE eStore is subject to the Terms of Use
