COVID-19 UPDATE

This is certainly a challenging and unsettling time. Like you, we are paying close attention to CVFID-19 and trying to create a plan that will keep our staff and customers safe. As some of you may be aware last week we put extra precautions in place with extra sanitizing and limiting building access to employees and the front counter.

Burlington has declared a state of emergency and ordered all non-essential businesses to close.  We consider ourselves an essential service, therefore for now we have made the decision to reduce staff and limit counter interaction beginning Monday March 23rd until further notice. We will have limited staff working Mon-Fri 7-5pm, and 24 Hr Emergency service to fulfill your requirements. The back door will remain locked, and in addition we will lock the front door to the public. Please call (905) 639-9662 or email info@seymoursmith.com your orders in ahead of time, we will prepare your order and advise you when ready.  Upon arrival please call (905) 639-9662 and we will bring your order outside.  We understand sometimes you may not know what you require, if this is the case please call and speak to someone so they can be prepared for your arrival and assist you.  Please do not come to Seymour-Smith Electric if you have any cold or flu like systems, or have travelled outside the country in the last 14 days. 

While this is a difficult call to make, we know it’s the right one given the developing COVID 19 situation. Of course, we will keep you updated if anything changes. Right now, we are monitoring the news and following advice from the Public Health Agency of Canada, the Canadian Government, and other national and local health organizations.
